“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,”

Matthew 25:35

Rejoice in the Lord’s work in our midst! Many thanks to The board members that worked so hard getting the deed paperwork, insurance, and all else.

We have new volunteers, Larry, Tom, Ken and Sue. They are “having fun” rearranging the walls to allow a more affective service area at ARM. Come see the changing space!

Family gatherings and vacations have affected our volunteer time and we are so blessed to have so many jump right in and help with the tasks each day brings us!

We have another worker, mechanical and strong- a Gravity Roller Conveyor! The Kiwanis purchased it for ARM and we look forward to putting it to work as we rearrange our space!

In May we gave service to 351 families, 810 individuals which include 273 children with 345 boxes to 793 persons.

This fall we will have to host a grand showing—maybe a Sunday Afternoon Tea? Ideas and suggestions are always welcome.

Our extra space has allowed us to pass on bed sets and couches that we couldn’t have stored in the past.

This summer we are helping with the children’s lunch snacks issued by the Women’s Crisis Center/Abortion Alternatives. This will be accomplished with our children’s snack bag and drinks on Tuesday and Friday. We have distributed 100 each day. The program started June 19th and will conclude on August 8th. We have a separate refrigerator now to store the juice drinks! Thanks be to the Lord!

OUR NEED LIST FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS

Any snack such as “rollups” or small canned fruit. Prayers of support are needed for assisting this effort.

FROM VIC YOUNG

I was asked recently what I have gained from volunteering at A.R.M.

Volunteering at A.R.M. has truly been a rewarding experience. More than anything, it gave me a way to give back to the community. The program provided me the opportunity to work, and become friends with, a group of highly dedicated individuals who gladly give of their time to assist others. That, in turn, gives me a “warm and fuzzy feeling” from being adopted as a member of that team.

I won’t try to name everyone I’ve served with for fear of leaving someone out, but I would like to thank the three directors with whom I have worked. First there was Diana Hodges, then came Carol Williams, and lastly our esteemed Libby.
